Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Saturday, Cameron and I took the boys to a pumpkin patch out in Marble Falls. It was so much fun! I took the boys last year with a mom's group and wished that Cameron could have gone with us. So this year I told him we were going for sure! It was about an hour drive but worth every second. The boys had so much fun!

Here are some pics of what it looks like. This place is in one of the most beautiful parts of Texas...in my opinion of course!

The boys were so excited about painting their pumpkins. Aiden had to pick out the perfect one.

After painting we were off the feed the goats. Asher is not so much of an animal man so he stayed back. Aiden...on the other hand...loves animals! He would have crawled in with them if they would have let him!

We went through a maze that was so much fun! Aiden really got into it and was running around like crazy! Cameron stuck with him and me and Asher trailed along. That was fine because it gave me a chance to get some cute pictures of my little man!

After all that fun we stopped and ate some homemade ice cream with was super yummy!!! After the ice cream it was time to pick out our pumpkin! The boys were so tired at this point they were a little overwhelmed by all the pumpkins. We found a good one! Cameron is going to carve his first pumpkin this year. I will post pics once it's carved.

To top off the day on the way out we stopped to stuff our own scarecrow. It was actually alot of fun...well I did most the work! Cameron put the staples into him and off we were to take all our goods home!

3 Day Potty Training

That's what we are doing and so far so good on day 2! I started yesterday after Aiden's nap. He woke up and before Asher was up we talked about him wearing big boy underwear. He was excited about wearing them and throwing away the diapers. So after almost an hour of him drinking 8 juice boxes and 3 cups of juice I thought why in the world has he not gone yet! He was obviously holding his pee pee as along as he could. Once he started peeing it was about 20 minutes of pure hell! He was screaming crying, running around and peeing everywhere! Everytime I would take him to the bathroom he would cry "I don't like it" and "put diaper on." All it took was going 1 time in the potty and so far we have only had 1 accident! I seriously cannot believe how fast he has caught on! He will tell me "mommy pee pee" and run to the potty. So life is good...I really expected this to be much harder then it has been!

All About ME!!!

I thought this was fun so I stole it from another blog...thanks Annie, I figured you wouldn’t mind!

I AM …so excited about the holidays this year!
I WANT… 2 or 3 more kids!
I HAVE …everything I have ever wanted in life!
I KEEP …my boys umbilical cord stubs when they fell off. I know...Cameron thinks I'm gross also!
I WISH I COULD ...motivate myself to workout everyday!
I HATE ...my backyard. It desperately needs a makeover.
I FEAR …something will happen to someone I love...I seriously think about this all the time!
I HEAR …"The Wiggles"...lucky me! LOL!
I DON’T THINK …my mother in law will ever move out.
I REGRET …stressing out so much when Asher was a baby. I should have just let go and enjoy things more.
I LOVE …sweet tea! Yummy!
I AM NOT …a career woman. My dream was to stay at home and raise my family and that's what I'm doing.
I DANCE …all the time with the boys. Usually to "The Wiggles" or "Yo Gabba Gabba."
I SING ...all day with the boys
I NEVER …get to sleep in.
I RARELY ...take my dogs for a walk. I know that's bad but they are lazy basset hounds! I end up dragging them anyway.
I CRY WHEN I WATCH …shows like "A Baby Story" or "Birth Day"
I HATE THAT ...Cameron has his office outside of the house. I miss hearing him and seeing him all day.
I AM NOT ALWAYS …as strict as I should be with the boys.
I’M CONFUSED ABOUT …potty training my 2 1/2 year old.
I NEED …schedule an appointment for my dogs to get groomed.
I SHOULD ...get off the computer and do something productive!

Nice laid back lazy weekend at home!

We had such a great weekend! It was so nice to be home with the boys that we decided to do a whole lot of nothing! Saturday we had all the family over to watch the Longhorns beat the Sooners...which I must say was a highlight of the weekend! Go Horns!!! Then we spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out...me rearranging furniture in Aiden's room (b/c I have a serious problem with things staying the same for too long) and Cam and the boys watching football and wrestling. I don't know how wore out each other more, Daddy or the boys. Sunday I woke up to a great surprise...my wonderful hubby suggesting we take the boys out to breakfast. So off we headed to my favorite restaurant in the whole world...Monument Cafe. It was nice but of course a little crazy. That's just life with 2 toddlers. After breakfast we headed off the the park for a few hours until we headed back home for naps and more football! I had a recipe that I have been wanting to try so I decided to make it for dinner! It was fabulous! There is nothing better then trying a recipe and it being delicious! It's a Rachael Ray recipe...Autumn Stew. If anyone wants the recipe let me know! After 2 days of family time and fun Cam and I ended the weekend with a glass of wine and a new episode of Amazing Race, our favorite show!

So much to catch up on and tons of new pictures!!!

First of all sorry it's been awhile since I have updated but we have been crazy busy! 2 weekends ago our church had their annual picnic. The boys had a blast and it was great seeing all the parishners outside of mass.
The boys loved the bounce house...we practically had to drag them out!

Last weekend Cameron and I headed up to Paris, TX for his 10 year class reunion. I have to admit I completely freaked out about leaving the boys with my parents for the first time EVER! However I stayed strong and everything ended up working out perfectly! Cameron and I had a great weekend and so did the boys.
It was great getting to meet all Cam's high school buddies. I can totally see why he had such a great high school experience...his friends were great!

The drive home was so hard because I just wanted to see and hug my boys so badly! When we walked in Aiden immediately started telling me everything he did and Asher would not let me put him down. It was a much needed break for all of us! It really made me realize how great my life is and how lucky I am to have the 2 greatest kids in the world! Yes they still drive me completely crazy but it's worth every second!
