Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! For us I honestly have to say it was the best ever! Last year was a rough Thanksgiving mostly because the boys were in terrible moods all day which can lead to stress for parents. This year was completely different. We celebrated at my parents house with tons of family...30 people total! Funny thing...I didn't take a single picture :) It was kind of nice just relaxing and enjoying the food and drinks and not running around taking a million pictures like usual. I am trying to cut back on pictures because I take way too many and am beginning to learn that not every second of our life needs to me documented! Ha!

Don't you just love these shirts!!!!

So Thanksgiving day was awesome and this year I decided to hit up the Black Friday sales! I was at Target at 3:30am Friday morning with about 1000 other people in Georgetown! It was nuts and insanely fun all at the same time. I got everything I wanted and ended up saving $90!  Yay me :) Later that afternoon we headed out to Lake Travis to my uncle and aunt's new house. We spent another afternoon chillin with food and drinks...life is sooooo good!

Saturday was my niece Alexi's birthday party at Chuck e Cheese. I think the adults had more fun then the kids...hehe! After the party we headed home to get out all the Christmas decorations. Sunday we went to church, then came home and set up the tree, put out all the other little things and put lights on the house.

I am so insanely thankful for all the wonderful things in my life. I am beyond in love with my family. My boys (all  3 of them) are my world and give me a reason to smile everyday. Now on to Christmas...

A Hunting We Will Go!

Last week we headed out to my grandparents tree farm up in East Texas for 4 days of hunting and outdoor fun! Cameron, my dad and brother were the hunters while me, the boys and my grandparents hung out and had some campfire fun.
They loved the swing in GG's and Big Grandpa's backyard

Riding the 4 wheelers was a big hit! They rode 3 different times with 3 different drivers! Here is Asher with his Uncle Elliot

The campfire! This was the part these boys were waiting for since we left our house. They loved roasting anything they could get their hands on!

Love these 2 pictures. Man this guy is cute :)
I love this picture because it shows a little of how beautiful my grandparent's land it. They have 100 acres with a pond and tons of gorgeous pine trees! I have been going out here since I was a baby and bringing my kids now is such a neat feeling. I love the they are now running down the same trails I was once did, letting their imaginations run wild. The whole time we were out they you couldn't take their little smiles off their faces. They were happy, content...I still get that feeling when we are out there. It's just so peaceful :)

Sweetberry Farms Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we headed west to Sweetberry Farms, our favorite pumpkin patch! Cameron took half the day off and suprised Aiden by picking him up from school! After that we were off!

First thing we did when we got there was buy strawberry popscicles. They were amazing! After that we headed over to paint a pumpkin. The boys got to pick out their own pumpkin out of this lovely boat ;)

After the pumpkins we were off to feed the goats! Asher has always been terrified of these goats but this year he was so brave and loved it!

Even though Ash loved the goats this was his favorite part...sticking his head in these cute cutouts!

Of course we had to take some pics with the pumpkins.

Next up the kid maze! The boys have always loved this. This year they really got into it and ran around and made it to the end for the first time! Yay!

After that we headed through the tunnel to the barrel train and flower picking.

Oh how things change in a year. Last year there is no way either boys would have done this. This year...they are pros!

For only $2 you can pick and take home all the flowers you can fit in a cup! We got a gorgeous bouquet that now gracess our breakfast table.

On our way out the boys wanted to stop and try out this tractor.

We had a fabulous day and was so lucky that the weather was gorgeous! Clear skies and in the 70's...can't ask for a better fall day in central Texas :)

Music Fest!

We are HUGE Nick Jr fans at this house so we were beyound excited about the Nick Mega Music fest last Monday. We made our microphones that morning, the boys practiced their singing all day, we made a batch of brownies to eat during the show...what I am saying is we got ready! The show was sooo good! I just love music and love that my boys do also. Even Cam watched it and enjoyed it :) Great family programming!

Take a deep breath

this is going to be a really, really long post :) So long I had to get some wine just to get through editing the pictures and writing it! Ha!

So I know I have been neglecting my blog for awhile and I do apologize. I have good excuses but whatever...here we go with an update...

Last Wednesday we headed over to a "new to me" park in Georgetown with my church mom's group. I seriously still cannot believe I didn't know about this park. I have lived here for going on 15 years! However, this park is amazing! Not only do they have a great playscape and clean bathrooms but they have donkeys. My animal lover Aiden was more then thrilled with these donkeys.
Isn't he so cute :) He really loves animals. I think it's too sweet.

Since I missed the Recipe of the Week last week so here is a sneak preview of the recipe tomorrow.

Saturday morning Aiden had his first soccer practice. I think Cameron has been waiting for this day since Aiden was born. Both of my boys were beyond excited! We decided that Cameron would take Aiden by himself and Asher and I headed to a new farmers market in the area.
This picture cracks me up everytime I see it! Asher was feeling exactly how his face looks. The whole time we were at the store all he asked me was "Mommy when can I play soccer"
Before they left I took Aiden outside to get a few shots of his sweet soccer moves.

Since we were outside I decided to take a few pics of Asher.
Pure beauty. I am positive this child will be someone famous one day. Look at that face :)
This is the infamous blue man...as Asher calls him. He goes everywhere Ash goes. This little blue man has not left his side for about a month. When blue man is missing we all tear the house apart looking for him. For the time being he is Asher's right hand man, which I think is pretty cute.

My 3 guys looking super handsome!

After soccer practice was over and the boys had a nap we decided to dye easter eggs.

Our eggs turned out pretty good :)

The next morning the Easter bunny came and left the boys baskets full of goodies and hid our eggs for us.

Because it was raining he had to hide them on the front porch area but the boys enjoyed it anyways.

After all the Easter bunny fun we got dressed and headed out to church. But of course before church I had to get some pics of my handsome boys. I usually buy matching outfits but this year just never got around to it so they wore coordinating outfits.

So there was our week. Another big thing that happened was Asher started sleeping at night without pullups! Yay! So far it's been 5 days and not a single wet night. I am so happy and so is Ash.
