Happy Healthy Halloween!

This evening we went to a local medical plaza that was hosting a "Happy Healthy Halloween" little festival. Some of the doctors offices stayed open and passed out fun treats for the kids. The local library was also there and the boys made a really cute pumpkin craft and sat down for a story time. The whole event was loads of fun! We met our good friends The Smiley's for some Halloween fun!

Day 4 of Halloween fun week was a success! I am so super excited for tomorrow because Cameron is taking off work early and we are headed out to our favorite pumpkin patch Sweetberry Farms for some last minute pumpkin fun!

Creepy Crawlers!

The boys and I made these delicious chocolatey treats this morning for a Halloween theme recipe swap playdate with our friends! I did the baking and the icing and the boys did the creepy crawler decorating. We had a fab time with some of our bestest friends :) Recipe swaps are one of my favorite playdates because everyone makes something yummy to share and brings copies of the recipe. So needless to say I totally pigged out this morning causing my jeans to fit a little tighter! Ha! Now it's time to prepare for Aiden's preschool Halloween party tomorrow :)

Weekend in Arlington

A couple of weekends ago we headed up north to Arlington to see our best friend's the Crissey's! As always is was fun...and crazy. What do you expect in a house with 5 kids, a newborn and 4 adults :)

For the first time the kids all slept in the same room! It was their first sleepover :)

On Sunday we went to Lilly's 5th birthday party at their local mall. The boys had a blast!

We had a great time and look forward to many more weekends of fun with them!

Baby Annabelle

In July one of my best friend's Eve had a sweet baby girl, Annabelle. She asked me to come over one day and take pictures of her for her birth announcement. Of course I said yes! I was so excited and loved how all of them turned out. She is such a little cutie.

but before I leave here are some pics from our New Year's Eve. Our best friend's the Crissey's all came down to spend it with us. We have spent 4 or 5 NY's together (we couldn't remember) since 2000. I am thinking this should become a tradition. We spent most of the time at our house just hanging out but NYE afternoon we decided to head out to our favorite park.

We put all the kids in one room so it was one big slumber party! They were all so cute...a little rowdy but super cute! Once they were all asleep the 4 of us played games until midnight then hit the sack.

Good Times with Friends!

Last weekend we headed up north to Arlington to help our best friend's celebrate their youngest son Carson's 1st birthday!
Carson had a football party which was tons of fun! He was such a cute little birthday boy :)

There was yummy food, good drinks and a great time spent visiting with friends.


It was rather chilly outside but the kids didn't care! They spent most of the time playing outside.






When it was all said and done we had a great trip which isn't a suprise! Everytime we see the Crissey's it's loads of fun :)

Last Friday my mom invited the boys over to make some yummy cupcakes! Of course they were super excited! We decided to make a few extra and take to the Crissey's as their house warming gift.

Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed to Arlington to visit the Crissey's at their new house! Their house was beautiful and there was so much room for all of us! It was great fun and we can't wait to go back soon.

Leaving town today! Yay!

We are leaving town today and heading north for Arlington! We are staying with my Uncle Gary and Aunt Monica and their 3 kidddos (and when I say kiddos I mean it) Brandon, Amy and Cassi. We will probably spend this evening and all day tomorrow swimming in their gorgeous pool and having a few cocktails! Yum! Then Sunday morning Cameron and I are the godparents to our best friend's sweet little boy Carson and he is getting baptized. All Aiden has talked about is seeing Lilly and Kyle all week (Carson's siblings). He is so excited and so am I! I love getting together with family and friends. Can't wait to see everyone :)
