Asher's first official haircut and cakes

I completely forgot these pictures were on my camera!
Asher got his first official haircut last week. I trimmed the sides of his hair a few months ago but this time he got the whole workup! He was really good...never cried and sat pretty still. Emily (my sister) cut it at her apartment.

And here are some cakes I made for a friend of my mom's son's 16th birthday. The orange cake if for UT and the blue for Georgetown high school (where he goes). I really like the way they turned out.

Alexi's First Birthday Party!

Yesterday was Alexi's (my niece) first birthday party. Her actual birthday is on Thanksgiving this year so Emily planned her party for the weekend before. It was really fun! I made the cakes which took me 4 hours to make yesterday morning while feeling awful! Everyone in my household is sick with a horrible cold! But we made it and had a great time!
