Happy 80th Grandma Marian!

Saturday was my Grandmother's 80th birthday so we celebrated big! We had a huge party at my Uncle Ken's house (her oldest son and my dad's brother). The party was a blast and friend's and family from all over came to help us celebrate :)

My Grandma and her 4 boys. My Dad is the one sitting at the bottom

Grandma and all her grandkids

Party Time! The reason Asher is not in any of the pictures is because he refused to come outside and swim! He spent almost the entire day inside.

Man my boys look super tan :)

I loved the lighting in this picture. My boys in my Uncle Ken's gameroom playing pinball.

I love Sam's!

I remember when I was a child and Sam's Superstore opened for the first time in Austin. Our whole family went and bought a membership even though my parents were barely getting by financially. We went into the store and thought it was the neatest place ever! We walked around, ate samples, looked at gallon jars of mayo and for some reason felt the need to buy in bulk.
Fast forward to yesterday...it's been years since I have been in Sam's but yesterday my mom convinced me to go with her and buy things for my grandmothers party this weekend. Needless to say I fell in love with Sam's again! It's not like it use to be when they first opened. I mean yes everything is still in bulk but it's more of a reasonable size. We had so much fun walking around looking at everything and seeing how much fun my boys had eating the samples took me back to when I was a child (oh the things that excite a child). So my mom put me on her business membershop and I am now a proud Sam's member :) I am thinking that I might start making a bi-weekly shopping trip there part of my routine. Also I loved the double seated baskets. Perfect for a mom with 2 crazy little boys :)

South Padre Island 09

Every year for Father's Day weekend my parents take us to the beach! This year we went to South Padre and had a blast! The trip was great however the drive is forever long! We decided to leave Wednesday evening so that the boys would sleep the majority of the 6 hours drive. It was a nice drive other then then the fact that we got lost and took an hour long detour. Oh well, Cam and I enjoyed the peace and quiet in the car and the 7 hour drive wasn't that bad. We didn't get to Padre until 1 in the morning!!! This was the first morning on the beach. Even though we didn't get in until the wee hours of the morning we still hit the beach right away! Cameron and Elliot (my brother) decided to get some skim boarding in before we went in for lunch. Needless to say Elliot is much better then Cam but they both had fun! Asher was not a huge fan of the waves so we found a little pool of water that the kids could play in and Ash was happy :) My mom and dad! I love them and feel so lucky to have them!!!! Asher formed a little possy while we were at the beach. The seagulls loved him...mostly because he always had food in his hand! LOL! Me and my sweetie! The 3 kiddos at the kiddie pool at the condo. Oh man how nice that condo was! I cannot wait to go back next year!!! Here was the view from my chair! Love it! Our family the last day at the beach! Ash and uncle Elliot enjoying the shade. Our condo! I told him not to do it! Me and Emily boogy boarding! Mom and Dad at the restaurant. We didn't eat out alot because the boys really are not that great at restaurants but our last night there we had the best meal!!!
Here is Asher and his girlfriend. After the beach one day we went back up to the pool and there were these young girls laying out. Asher walked right over to this one and smiled at her and got in her chair with her! It was hilarious!!!! I am going to have my hands full with that little ladies man! LOL! The boys next to their sand castle. After dinner one night we stopped by this go cart place and all the boys went for a ride! Asher was a little nervous at first but then got into it after a few go arounds. Aiden on the other hand loved it!! Here is me and Cam at Father's Day brunch. The boys were totally crazy and would not take a pic with Daddy so I did. After we ate we headed home...back to reality. Here is a hilarious video of Cam one of the days we were at the beach. And yeah he had a few too many...that's the only reason he agreed to this! LOL!
