Happy Healthy Halloween!

This evening we went to a local medical plaza that was hosting a "Happy Healthy Halloween" little festival. Some of the doctors offices stayed open and passed out fun treats for the kids. The local library was also there and the boys made a really cute pumpkin craft and sat down for a story time. The whole event was loads of fun! We met our good friends The Smiley's for some Halloween fun!

Day 4 of Halloween fun week was a success! I am so super excited for tomorrow because Cameron is taking off work early and we are headed out to our favorite pumpkin patch Sweetberry Farms for some last minute pumpkin fun!

Noah's Ark Parade and Carnival!

Today my little lion headed off to his preschool Noah's Ark theme day!

One of the reasons I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom was so that I could be a part of all the activites my boys will have in school. So I could not wait to volunteer for almost all the parties Aiden will have this year! I made these super cute pumkpin shaped sandwiches for the party.

After lunch the parents gathered outside to watch our little animals parade to the activity center for the carnival!

I love Aiden's school and how accepting they are. They let Asher go up and sing with his class for the parents. Needless to say he was thrilled!

After the performance the kids played a little bean bag toss...

Then fished for smiley face balls...

We dug for spiders...

and won some cool prizes!

It was so much fun seeing Aiden with all his friends. I think I enjoyed it as much as the boys!

Day 3 of Halloween week is complete! 4 more days of fun until Halloween!

Creepy Crawlers!

The boys and I made these delicious chocolatey treats this morning for a Halloween theme recipe swap playdate with our friends! I did the baking and the icing and the boys did the creepy crawler decorating. We had a fab time with some of our bestest friends :) Recipe swaps are one of my favorite playdates because everyone makes something yummy to share and brings copies of the recipe. So needless to say I totally pigged out this morning causing my jeans to fit a little tighter! Ha! Now it's time to prepare for Aiden's preschool Halloween party tomorrow :)

Orange and Black Day

Last Wednesday Aiden had orange and black day at his preschool. So I just had to order him a super cute Halloween shirt from etsy. He was so excited and looked so super handsome! Asher decided to wear his Halloween shirt as well that I won from this website. Both boys looked so super cute!

By the way, everyday this week I will be posting something Halloweenish! I LOVE halloween and we have something fun planned for everyday! Stay posted...

Buzz and Woody

I took the boys to get their pics made at JCPenney Portrait studio in their halloween costumes. They were so cute...Asher was a goofball (as usual) and Aiden was took his role of Buzz very seriously :)

 

Pumpkin Patch

I know, I know...

I have been a very bad blogger! Ahhh!!! When in the world did life get so busy that I don't even have time to take the new pictures I have taken off my camera and blog about them. So I PROMISE by the end of the week there will be a new post with new pics of all the fun outings that's been keeping us so busy :)

Because I'm a little crazy...

...I had my lovely sister come over yesterday after church and take our Christmas card picture...then because I am super crazy I edited it and dashed to Shutterfly to make a mock Christmas card and well just play around a little while the boys napped on our lazy Sunday afternoon...and then because I am well just plan nuts, I ordered them! Yup, it's October, I haven't even ordered my Halloween cards and I will have my Christmas cards in my hands in the next week. Like I said in my title, because I'm a little crazy...  

Thirsty?

This week the weather has been gorgeous down in our neck of the woods :) The boys and I have spent some time working out in the yard which makes you a little thirsty. Can you think of a better way to quench your thirst? :)

Weekend in Arlington

A couple of weekends ago we headed up north to Arlington to see our best friend's the Crissey's! As always is was fun...and crazy. What do you expect in a house with 5 kids, a newborn and 4 adults :)

For the first time the kids all slept in the same room! It was their first sleepover :)

On Sunday we went to Lilly's 5th birthday party at their local mall. The boys had a blast!

We had a great time and look forward to many more weekends of fun with them!

Baby Annabelle

In July one of my best friend's Eve had a sweet baby girl, Annabelle. She asked me to come over one day and take pictures of her for her birth announcement. Of course I said yes! I was so excited and loved how all of them turned out. She is such a little cutie.

Seriously??!!!

So yesterday I was sitting at my computer at my dining room table and looked out the front of my house. In this little nook I got the idea to take a few pics of the boys. The red brick and the white rock seemed kind of cool looking. So after they woke up from their nap we headed out there where I got, what I thought, were the best shots! This morning while I was ironing Cam's clothes I couldn't wait to edit them and started planning ordering canvases of the pictures to hang in my hallway...yeah I was a little excited about seeing them. I mean hello they looked PERFECT on my camera screen. However when I went to edit them they were really grainy and not so perfect. I couldn't figure out why in the world they looked like this. So I looked at the settings on my camera and someone had changed my "sharpness" setting to very sharp! I am guessing that little someone would be Aiden because he loves to play with my camera. So here are the pics, not great quality but their little faces are precious. So hopefully today we can head back out and try this again :)

So after writing this post I went and looked at it on my blog and the pictures look perfect! So weird because in my editing software they were very grainy. So I think I am going to print them and see if they look grainy in print :)
